Gaampara Gumpu is a laugh-out-loud Kannada comedy that cleverly blends satire, wit, and social commentary. Set against the backdrop of a society obsessed with imitation and misplaced aspirations, the play humorously questions our fascination with foreign cultures while celebrating the wisdom, values, and ethics rooted in our own traditions.
Penned by Dasharatha Deekshitha, the play uses amusing allegories and memorable characters to explore relationships, human follies, and the consequences of chasing illusions. With its sharp humour, engaging performances, and meaningful message, Gaampara Gumpu is an entertaining theatrical experience that leaves audiences laughing, reflecting, and reconnecting with what truly matters.
A wholesome family entertainer with a timeless social message
