About this Event

ANIFEILIAID DOF - TAMME DYR - DOMESTICATED ANIMALS is a writing, making & zine workshop hosted by Hattie Morrison with support from The Nordic Culture Fund and The Arts Council of Wales.

PLEASE BRING AN OBJECT FROM YOUR DOMESTIC SPACE THAT YOU BELIEVE TO BE / COULD BE CONSIDERED BY SOME AS FEMININE.

Together we will explore notions such as (but not limited to) performance without an audience, gendered objects, what modern folklore could be and the root of Old Wive’s Tales.

We will make our own folkloric zines and collages throughout the session using archival, kitsch and kitchen materials provided by the Nordic Culture Fund + Arts Council of Wales. These will be included within a booklet created by Hattie Morrison in collaboration with Norweigian writer Emma Aars. All participants will be credited.

This workshop series is commissioned by the Arts Council of Wales with The Nordic Culture Fund, and is a Northern European Mobility Opportunity (NEMO).

The rest of the workshops in this series will take place in Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, Oslo and Bergen.
