For October’s FWS meeting local artist Carol Cologie will demonstrate how the use of Zentangle can provide an added interest in watercolor art and flare to journal pages using pen & ink Zentangle techniques.The recommended supplies to bring for the Zentangle demonstration are:
- Fine tip marker in black
- graphite pencil (any lead pencil will work)
- one slim line, black marker to color in small spaces
- a small sketchbook or unlined paper
- A gummy eraser
- A small tortillon (paper blending stump) available at Michaels or even a Q-tip will work
Fairbanks Watercolor Society’s meetings are free and open to the public. All levels of artists are welcome! We look forward to seeing you this month!
*meetings are held in the blue room upstairs in the centennial building at Alaskaland. In the winter months you can drive into Alaskaland via the back entrance for closer parking.*
