About this Event

We are delighted to welcome three of our successful funding awardees to Ormeau Baths on Tuesday 24th March!

Johnnie Mastropieri, founder of Maestro Immersions was the honoured recipient of the Proof of Concept Social Facing Grant from FSNI, as well as the recipient of Proof of Concept match funding from Northern Ireland Screen, which enabled them to produce ‘Liminal Ground: Enter the Space Between’. A story-driven, culturally relevant immersion, the VR prototype delivers 20 minutes of dynamic embodied relief, sustainable coping skills education, and neurobiological support to those recovering from PTSD.

Pauline Timoney, founder of Routine Roo, an enabled platform that transforms children’s daily routines into personalised, gamified storyboards to help families reduce stress and support children’s independence. As part of the Proof of Concept project supported by Future Screens NI, they have been exploring how behavioural science and gamification can be used to improve engagement and routine completion in young children.

Tura Arutura, founder of iStéip which is an AI and XR-powered platform designed for learning and experiencing traditional Irish Sean Nós dance. By combining motion-capture and computer vision with high-quality instructional content, iStéip allows users to learn authentically from anywhere in the world while supporting cultural custodians and teachers.

Our speakers are extremely excited to share their stories and answer any questions you may have.
