About this Event
This workshop will consider what Northern Ireland's linguistic and cultural heritage consists of.
It will enable participants to learn more about these cultural assets and how they have come down to us before discussing why we should seek to promote them, and how they may benefit us as a society.
The workshop will be led by members of the Framing the Legacy of our Irish and Scottish Heritage (FLOURISH) project, which has been funded by the PEACEPLUS Programme under investment area 1.3 - Building Positive Relations.
The project is exploring both the local and wider contexts in which Irish, Ulster Scots, Scottish Gaelic and Scots exist and the role that communities and society in general have in shaping the way we view and manage our linguistic legacy.
