About this Event
The future of education is already here. The question is: Are we ready for it?
The Center for Black Innovation presents the Future of Education Forum 2026, a full-day gathering created for teachers, school administrators, parents, youth-serving organizations, education professionals, researchers, policymakers and community leaders.
Education has changed dramatically since COVID—and our students have changed with it. This forum will bring leading researchers, educators and community voices together for candid conversations about what is happening in our schools and, more importantly, what we can do about it.
We will tackle some of the most urgent issues facing education today, including:
- Student achievement and post-COVID learning loss
- Chronic absenteeism and student apathy
- Literacy and academic preparedness
- The challenges facing Black boys in education
- Parent engagement and the school-family disconnect
- Public schools and school choice
- Artificial intelligence and the future of education
- Career and technical education
- Workforce development and career pathways
- Preparing young people for an economy being transformed by AI
This isn't simply a day of speeches. The goal is to create candid conversations, practical learning and solutions that educators, parents and community leaders can take back to their schools and communities.
Admission is FREE. Lunch will be provided to registered attendees.
Space is limited and advance registration is required.
