About this Event
Ever find yourself wrapping a gift and realizing 30 minutes too late that you forgot to get a card?—and then flash foward and you're standing in the store debating between getting the boring generic card or the cuter, almost-handmade-looking one that costs 3 times as much? If so, this workshop is for you!
Come spend the evening building a stash of handmade cards so the next time a birthday, holiday, thank-you, or just-because moment rolls around, you’ll already have the perfect card ready to go.
We’ll have blank cards and envelopes, acrylic and watercolor paint pens, ink and stamps, colorful paper for cutting and collaging, and plenty of other supplies to mix, match, layer, and experiment with. Your cards can be polished, playful, sentimental, wonderfully wonky, or somewhere in between.
No previous experience is needed, and there’s no pressure to create anything perfect. We’ll have plenty of examples and friendly guidance to help you get started, along with lots of open making time to follow your own ideas.
