Luke Heggie and Sean Woodland have a bunch of new jokes to run by you. No weird sh*t.If you want someone to ask you how your day was, what you do for a crust these days, or how long you’ve been married, give your Mum a call.
This is a night of sharp, straight-up stand-up from two award-winning Australian comedians who have little interest in audience participation, self-help mumbo-jumbo or pretending everything is going to be okay.
Luke Heggie is a raw, unapologetic club comic, writer and producer, known for his dry delivery and no-nonsense take on everyday life. He’s written and starred in The Weekly for the ABC, appeared across Australian television, and co-hosts Mid Flight Brawl with Nick Cody.
Sean Woodland is a multi-award-winning comedian and former teacher, postie, cook, Aussie Rules footballer and world-wide wonderer. He brings a rapid-fire barrage of jokes, stories and observations accumulated over a life that apparently took a while to get to comedy.
“...this is a perfect hour of sharp, slaying-them-in-the-aisles, stand-up comedy.” - The Age ★★★★½
This show is not recommended for anyone who was brought up to believe nothing is their fault.
