A weeklong in-person training to help you along your journey of becoming a Fusion Dance Instructor.🔗https://flouerdances.com/ftt2027sf
📍 Golden City Dance Collective, San Francisco, CA
📅 February 15–20, 2027
🎯 Module Two of our FTT system, designed to learn the skills of teaching.
⏱️ About 6 hrs of studio time a day
👥 Around 20 people, nice and intimate
💻 Online pre-work and zoom meet-ups beforehand, so we can get theory out of the way and focus on the in-person skills of teaching.
💃 Optional Saturday Workshop: you get to teach and get feedback from instructors and peers
🎶 Experience the San Francisco fusion scene, with 4 nights of social dancing
What will you learn?
This module is all about creating great local fusion dance classes.
Fusion frameworks & theory
Teaching an awesome intro class
Building class structure
Building a curriculum
Communication & classroom management
Plus bonus conversations on history, culture, scene organizing, and what your new role as a teacher looks like in the community.
Why bother learning to teach?
Being a great dancer doesn’t automatically make you a great teacher.
Most teachers build these skills through years of trial and error, one uncomfortable class at a time.
We want to help you shortcut that process!
