About this Event
Add a splash of colour to winter with this creative fused glass workshop at our Yorkshire Robin Festival.
With an extensive selection of coloured glass to choose from, you’ll have the freedom to design your own robin hanging decoration and plant pot stake. Go for a realistic robin or let your imagination run wild with bold colours and abstract designs – the choice is yours!
With guidance from an experienced glass artist, you’ll learn new skills and create two unique pieces to brighten up your home or give as a thoughtful handmade gift. All materials are included, so just bring your creativity and enjoy a couple of hours of making something special.
Your creations will be taken away by the artist after the workshop to be fired in the kiln. Once ready, your finished pieces will be available for collection from Potteric Carr, collection from Fired Fusions’ studio, or delivery by post for an additional charge. All pieces will be ready in time for Christmas.
Take a break from crafting with tea, coffee, mulled wine and a mince pie.
Location: Education Centre, Potteric Carr Nature Reserve. The Education Centre is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Visitor Centre, so please allow time to get there.
