On track for a prosperous 2026, FUNGKSHUI is excited to be recording their second studio album and plans to hit the road with a fresh perspective for the new year. The band has shared the stage with notable touring acts such as Pink Talking Fish, LaMP, Eggy, Octave Cat, Daniel Donato, Kick the Cat, Particle, Kung Fu, Pimps of Joytime and Consider the Source.
Oobleck is a high-octane, five-piece funk band that’s been playing around the Capital Region, Hudson Valley, and Vermont since 2008. Known regionally for inciting dance parties wherever they land, they boast a big, in your face sound inspired by New Orleans street music that is equally at home with jam bands, experimental acts, and good ol’ Rock and Roll.
It’s a melee of horns, super heavy drums and bass and your favorite type of chunky guitar riffing that leaves your bum shaking and your face grinning. Highly improvised, kinetic, with effect-soaked horns creating textural soundscapes, our vibe is high-energy and dance-focused – interlocking rhythms and syncopation keep us in the pocket and the dancers moving.
