About this Event
Join Nottingham Green Guardians and City Nature Group for a walk through Sellers Wood, a lovely mixed woodland right on the edge of the city, in search of fungi and other autumn wildlife. Autumn is peak season for fungi, and Sellers Wood is a brilliant spot to see a real variety popping up among the leaf litter and deadwood.
The walk covers approximately 2 miles at a relaxed pace, so boots or wellies are advisable, especially if it's been wet underfoot.
Please note: this is not a foraging walk. Sellers Wood is a nature reserve, and our Rangers are not fungi experts, so no picking will be permitted on this walk. It's all about looking, learning, and appreciating what's out there.
Meeting point: The corner where Sellers Wood Drive meets Wood Link
