The daughter of our longtime bartender Johnny has been fighting through ongoing health issues as we, as a community, are hosting a fundraiser event to assist the Ransdell family.Sophia Ransdell, Johnny's 15 year old daughter, began having seizures in 2023. She has been receiving care at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and this summer spent four weeks hospitalized after SEEG brain surgery. Doctors identified two lesions on the left side of her brain; she has a condition called Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). This disease has affected her motor skills so severely that she now needs and uses a wheelchair. The next step is laser ablation, which is scheduled for November.
We hope that you are able to stop by Wolski's on Sunday 9/27 between 2pm and 7pm to show your support for Johnny, Sophia, and their family. If you can donate, we will have ways for you to do that. We will also have prizes to raffle off from other members of our community that are supporting this cause. 100% of funds raised will go to the family.
