This course is for health care proffesionals only and will involve a combination of didactic, skills stations, scenario-based learning with hands-on practice to provide a comprehensive understanding of tracheostomy care
This course is intended for RN, RPN, RRT, or GRT
Required Material:
(1) The course textbook is "Caring for your Childs Tracheostomy Tube". It is available as a PDF file free of charge on the Pediatric Complex Care Unit website. Transfers & Substitutions
Registrations may be transferred to another course date if requested at least 7 days prior to the course start date. You may also send a substitute participant at no additional charge at any time (substitutes must meet course prerequisites). To request a transfer or substitution, email [email protected].
Refunds
Refund requests must be submitted through Eventbrite (www.eventbrite.ca/mytickets) and are issued as follows:
- More than 14 days before the course – Full refund (100%)
- 7–14 days before the course – 50% refund
- Less than 7 days before the course – No refund
Eventbrite processing fees are subject to their own refund policy. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Exceptions may be considered in special circumstances.
Course Changes
SiROC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, participants will be rescheduled to the next available session or may choose an alternative future date.
