About this Event
For most people, when they hear "breathwork, they think of something intense or spiritual. Loud, heavy breathing. Incense. Big emotional release.
That's not what we're doing here.
'Functional breathwork' is all about the practical application of breathing practices, built around real-life outcomes: improving sleep, energy, focus, stress levels.
Every session is different, but it's always a combination of several techniques.
We might do some box and coherent breathing to steady your nervous system. Or alternative nostril and cyclic sighing to shift energy and focus. We might play around with slightly more activating breathing and breath-holds, to build tolerance for discomfort.
Nothing intense or performative (definitely nothing you'd be embarrassed doing in a public space 😉) Just very practical techniques, using nothing but your breath and sensory systems.
