Lyndsay Murphy will give a talk about herbs that can be found locally or grown easily and how we can use them to improve our health.Lyndsay is a qualified medical herbalist. The talk will focus on herbal remedies to help soothe common winter ailments. Learn how elderflower/elderberry, peppermint and yarrow can treat colds, and discover the ingredients that can ease coughs, such as Lyndsay's fennel seed, mullein, thyme and plantain tea blend. There will be the opportunity to try some (non-alcoholic) fire cider - a warming support to the immune system.
Refreshments will be available.
We are running this event on a donation basis. There is no suggested amount - just pay what you feel you can on the day. We are only able to take payment by cash.
