About this Event

Full Moon Sound Bath near Joshua Tree Nat'l Park

Join us for an unforgettable evening of deep relaxation, a healing soundbath and stargazing at Joshua Tree National Park. This serene outdoor gathering will coincide with the peak of the Full Harvest Moon , creating the perfect backdrop for inner stillness and cosmic awe and setting intentions for the new month.

The Harvest Moon has long marked the changing of the seasons—a time of gathering, gratitude, completion, and transition as summer gives way to autumn.

We'll gather at 6:00 PM, while the desert is still illuminated by the warm light of late afternoon. Find a comfortable place, meet your fellow stargazers, and watch the colors begin to change across the rocks and Joshua trees. We will watch as the full moon rises, and take a few minutes for take some epic photos amongst the Joshua Trees.

As twilight arrives, we'll settle in for our first soundbath, surrounded by the quiet spaciousness of the desert.

Then we'll take a break to share warm cacao, savory and sweet snacks, and refreshments while turning our attention to the Harvest Moon and the emerging night sky.

We'll hear stories of the Full Moon, explore some of the constellations appearing overhead, and take a little time to consider our own personal harvest: What has come to fruition? What are we grateful for? And what are we ready to release as we enter a new season?

Then we'll settle back beneath the open sky for our second soundbath, allowing the resonant tones of Tibetan bowls, chimes, gong, and harmonic sounds to carry us deeper into the evening.

🌾 The Harvest Moon

For generations, the Harvest Moon has been associated with the transition into autumn and the gathering of the year's harvest. Its bright evening light traditionally provided farmers with additional time after sunset to bring in their crops.

For our evening, we'll explore harvest as a personal metaphor—a moment to recognize what we've cultivated during the year, appreciate what has grown, and consider what we're ready to carry forward into the next season.
