Six floats. One full moon.
On Sunday, October 25, the moon comes up at 5:44 and the sun goes down at 6:17. We start the bowls at 5:45, so you are already on the water when the light changes. By the time we finish at 7:15 it is full dark, under a moon that turns exactly full a few hours later.
Here is the evening. Crystal and Tibetan bowls played over a heated pool, directly on the Potomac. You lie on a float with a warm blanket and an eye mask. A dedicated attendant stays with the water for the whole session, so the only thing you have to do is lie there.
The pool holds six floats comfortably, so six is the guest list. If you would rather stay dry, take a mat seat on the deck: the same bowls, the same moon, from solid ground.
