About this Event
Release & Recharge: An Evening of Campfire Reflection & Sound Healing
Date: Monday, October 26, 2026
Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Location: Vinhasa Energy Studio: 330 Perry Road, Binghamton, NY
Investment: $45 per person (Includes hot cider and all reflection materials)
Join us for a unique two-hour outdoor experience designed to help you decompress, clear your mind, and reset your nervous system. Set in a quiet, wooded clearing on the Perry Road ridge, this evening is a practical opportunity to step away from daily stressors, reflect on what is no longer serving you, and restore your mental clarity under the bright autumn moonlight. We will begin our evening just as the sun sets, gathering around a crackling campfire. You will be guided through a practical writing exercise to help identify and physically let go of mental clutter, stress, or heavy emotions by tossing them into the fire. Afterward, we will transition into a deep, 60-minute therapeutic sound bath. As the ambient sounds of singing bowls wash over the clearing, you can lay back, look up at the rising full moon, and let your body deeply rest.
The Evening Timeline
- 5:30 PM | Arrival & Grounding: Settle in, grab a mug of warm spiced local cider, and find your spot around the fire.
- 5:51 PM | Sunset: The fire is lit as twilight sets in over the woods.
- 6:02 PM | The Moonrise Peak: We will pause for a brief moment of quiet focus to watch the Hunter's full moon clear the tree line.
- 6:15 PM | Guided Campfire Reflection: A structured, therapeutic exercise to write down and safely burn what you are choosing to let go of.
- 6:30 PM | 1-Hour Sound Bath: A passive, deeply relaxing sound immersion to soothe your nervous system and clear your mind.
- 7:30 PM | Conclusion: Depart feeling lighter, grounded, and refreshed for the week ahead.
What is Provided
- Hot, locally sourced spiced apple cider (and insulated cups).
- Paper and pens for the reflection exercise.
- A safe, controlled woodfire environment.
What to Bring for Your Comfort
Late October evenings in the Southern Tier get cold quickly once the sun drops, and because we are on a ridge, it will feel brisk. Please dress in heavy layers (winter coats, hats, gloves, and socks). Because your body temperature drops during sound healing, we highly recommend bringing:
- A camp chair is ideal as the ground will have moisture this time of year
- A yoga mat, camping pad, or thick blankets can work (insulating yourself from the cold grass is key to staying comfortable!).
- You may bring your own concessions, and to make us more sustainable you're welcome to bring your own mug for the cider to reduce cup waste.
Registration required - participation is limited to 20 people (ages 12+) to keep it a calm, restorative, and intimate experience.
Accessibility Note: you will need to make a short walk in the grass, wheelchair accessible, but it is a slight uphill grade
