Full Freezer, Full Hearts
Join us for a Relief Society evening of connection, preparation, and a little practical service. We’ll be assembling crockpot freezer meals by combining raw ingredients into ready-to-freeze bags. Some meals will be shared with sisters in our community who could use a little extra support, while others will go home with you to help make the coming busy season a little easier.
As we work together, we’ll also reflect on the spiritual principle of preparation. In Luke 12:40, the Savior teaches, “Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” We don’t always know what life will bring, but we can prepare ourselves and our homes so that when opportunities to serve, or simply slow down and feel the Spirit come, we are ready to receive them, and be filled.
