About this Event
Bullseye Glass Company owners Dan Schwoerer and Lani McGregor invite you to a live demonstration by renowned glassblower Dante Marioni and his dream team as they create Venetian-style goblets. In the hot shop, these intricate vessels are known simply as “cups”—a defining exercise through which master glassblowers hone their craft.
For this exclusive event, Dante’s team will work with a unique palette of colored glass specially formulated for Marioni by Bullseye Glass Co.’s master glass chemist, Sam Andreakos. Watch the team’s seamless choreography as they transform this experimental glass into delicate, historic forms.
Individual cups will be available for purchase. Proceeds to be donated to the Portland Art Museum.
