Fueling the Post-Migration Body: How Women’s Health Shapes Workplace Performance and Economic Independence”
This theme explores the connection between women's health after migration, their ability to participate and thrive in the workforce, and their journey toward financial stability and economic independence. It recognizes that when women migrate to a new country, they often face significant changes in their physical environment, nutrition, lifestyle, access to healthcare, family responsibilities, and working conditions. These changes can affect their overall well-being and, in turn, their ability to secure employment, remain productive, advance professionally, and achieve financial security.
At its heart, the program highlights an important message: "Women's health is not separate from their economic success. It is one of the foundations that makes it possible".
