Three days of hockey, camaraderie, and community—supporting those who serve and have served.
Veterans Navigation Network invites you to the Frozen Chosen Classic, a three-day military hockey tournament at Signal Peak Energy Arena in Billings.
Players will compete on four teams representing the United States Army, Marine Corps, Navy/Coast Guard, and Air Force/Space Force. Anyone, including non-veterans, can register to play. Priority will be given as follows: Veterans, veteran families, first-responders and then the general public.
The Frozen Chosen Classic is about more than hockey. It recreates the camaraderie many veterans and service members miss after leaving the military, encourages healthy physical activity, builds new relationships, and connects participants and their families with a community that understands service.
Come play, cheer from the stands, and help make the Frozen Chosen Classic an annual Billings tradition.
Dates: Friday, June 11–Sunday, June 13, 2027
Location: Signal Peak Energy Arena, Billings, Montana
Player Registration — $100
Player registration includes participation throughout the tournament, a team jersey and socks.
Players will be asked to provide:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Date of birth
- Preferred position: goalie, wing, center, or defense
- Military branch
- USA Hockey rating
- USA Hockey identification number
- Jersey size
- Name to appear on the jersey nameplate
- First, second, and third team preferences
Team placement is not guaranteed. Final rosters will be determined by registration numbers, player positions, ratings, and the need to create balanced teams.
Spectator Admission — $20
The $20 spectator ticket provides admission to the entire three-day tournament, June 11–13.

Players from all military branches are welcome. Team preferences will be collected during registration, but final rosters will be assigned to promote fair and competitive play.
Player registration will be limited. Reserve your place on the ice—or your tournament pass for the stands—and be part of the Frozen Chosen Classic.
