The Front Parlor Series is a community of storytellers in Troy, New York. This is where anyone, with any (or no) prior experience can take the mic and tell us a true tale based on the monthly theme.
Wednesday, August 12th Theme: “What Was I Just Saying?”
Ever been in the middle of a conversation and just totally lost your train of thought? Some people refer to this experience as “SFB” (or Shit for Brains). Whether it happens in a conversation, or you forget someone’s birthday, an important appointment, or a promise you made, forgetting can happen to anyone. Sometimes we even forget who we are and do something stupid like get bangs or go back to our toxic ex. Come tell us about a time when you forgot. What was the outcome… good, bad, or did you forget?
And remember, the story must be true and your’s to tell. Stories should be about 5 minutes long and as always, no props or notes.
