Join Lettered & Local at St. Vrain Cidery for a fun, Halloween-inspired evening of calligraphy, hand lettering, and creative expression.
We'll begin by learning some basic calligraphy techniques and lettering skills, then you'll put them to work creating your very own Halloween-themed plate.
Whether your style is spooky, sarcastic, witchy, creepy, or just delightfully unhinged, this is your chance to put some personality on a plate.

You don’t have to be “good at lettering” to make something you’ll actually want to display. We’ll start by learning the basics of calligraphy, then you’ll choose from a collection of spooky, unfiltered, cute, and downright fun Halloween templates for your plate.
I’ll teach you exactly how to trace your chosen design so your lettering lands where you want it to and your finished plate looks polished, intentional, and totally you. No staring at a blank plate wondering where the hell to start.
You’ll leave with a finished Halloween plate you’ll be proud to display (or gift to someone who deserves a little spooky sass), plus a take-home calligraphy kit so you can keep practicing your new skills long after the ghosts have gone home. 🖤👻
I'll walk you through the lettering process step-by-step, so you don't need to consider yourself “artistic” or have beautiful handwriting to join in.
