About this Event
Join IBA's Arts Program at La CASA for From Protests to Pride: Generations of Villa Victoria, a community art exhibition celebrating the stories, resilience, and cultural legacy of Villa Victoria.
Organized by Ashley Martinez, IBA’s Visual Arts Residency Coordinator, the exhibition brings together original woodblock prints, archival materials, and community artwork exploring the movement for housing justice, self-determination, and activism that shaped Villa Victoria into the community it is today.
Through art and historical materials, From Protests to Pride honors the generations of residents, artists, and organizers who built and sustained Villa Victoria while creating space for the community to reflect on its history and carry that legacy forward.
