Free El Paso Workshop Will Help Restaurants Create Better Food Photography and Turn Online Attention Into Orders
“From Plate to Profit” invites 30 local restaurants to a hands-on food photography and restaurant growth seminar on September 28
EL PASO, Texas — Mena Photography will host From Plate to Profit, a free food photography and restaurant growth workshop for local restaurant owners and managers on Monday, September 28, 2026.
The workshop will teach participants how to create more appetizing photographs for menus, social media, websites and delivery platforms using a phone or camera. Attendees will learn practical techniques involving lighting, composition, camera angles, plating and editing before practicing at live appetizer, entrée and dessert photography stations.
The second portion of the seminar will demonstrate how stronger photographs can become part of a larger restaurant growth system involving websites, online ordering, customer retention and digital marketing.
“Independent restaurants often serve incredible food, but their online photographs don’t always communicate that quality,” said organizer and photographer Omar Mena. “We want to give restaurant owners techniques they can use immediately, even if all they have is their phone.”
The workshop is free and limited to 30 restaurants. Registration is required.
