About this Event
This tasting is in our Greenwich store. Click here for our Blackeath events.
At our tasting table this year, we’ve visited Northern Spain and we’ve explored the Pyrenees, so it’s about time that we ventured further south and got ourselves some winter sun. The vast scorching plains of La Mancha, made famous in Don Quixote, offer up ripe, earthy Garnacha that goes down very smoothly indeed. Hit Andalusia and you’re in Sherry country with fortified wines that will warm your cockles, but also a burgeoning white wine scene that is setting the industry alight.
If you’re into flavourful, complex whites and rich, smoky reds then tonight is the tasting for you - in the depths of October, let’s warm ourselves with wines baked in the Spanish sun!
Our shop tastings start at 7.30pm and run for approximately one-and-a-half to two hours. We will taste six to eight wines on a theme, and bread, cheese, and charcuterie are provided to match with the wines. Due to the communal nature of the tasting, we are unable to cater for dietary requirements.
