From First Dance to First Home is a relaxed, interactive evening designed for engaged and newlywed couples in Colorado Springs. We’ll start on the dance floor, have a little fun testing how well you know each other, and mix in practical conversations about money, homeownership, and planning your next chapter together.
No sales pitch. No pressure to buy a house. And absolutely no expectation that you already have everything figured out.
Here’s how the evening rolls:
💃 1. Welcome + Couples Dance Lesson
We’ll kick things off with a fun, beginner-friendly 30-minute couples dance lesson led by Ruth Burger. No dance experience required — just bring your person!
💍 2. The Newlywed-Style Game
Then we’re putting couples to the test with our own twist on the Newlywed Game.
Expect fun questions mixed with real-life topics around financial literacy, home searching, homebuying, and planning together. You may learn something about buying a house… or discover your partner has a VERY different definition of their dream kitchen. 😂
💬 3. Open Q&A
Have questions about buying your first home? Building a financial plan together? What the home search actually looks like?
Ask away.
Our local experts will be there for a casual, judgment-free conversation — whether buying a home is something you want to do soon, someday, or you're simply curious.
