About this Event
Community-led green spaces in Norwich are everywhere, with hundreds of people across the city volunteering their time to care for them. But who does what, and where are they? How do these spaces make us feel? Could they be linked to create a nature corridor to the river?
This walk with Lucy Allen from Mind's Nature Connect takes you through a couple of small but active community gardens, before making our way to the River Wensum. Expect a mindful walk, focusing on connecting with these small pockets of green space, plus conversation about ideas for a greener Norwich for nature and people.
Please note: part of this route goes up Elm Hill, which has an uneven cobbled surface. Sturdy, comfortable footwear is recommended, and the route may not be suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
This event is suitable for adults/young people/families.
This walk will be starting at St Andrew's Hall as part of the Wild by Design event . Please arrive 15 minutes before the walk begins and speak to someone at the entrance.
