About this Event
From Blank Page to Product Strategy: How do you actually get there?
Most product teams are moving faster than ever. AI has made building cheap, so the hard part is deciding what to build and why. Speed doesn't fix a weak strategy. As Andrew Skotzko puts it: faster cars don't make better drivers.
Join BPMA for an evening with Andrew Skotzko, executive advisor to product leaders and author of the new book The Strategy Cycle: A Field Guide to Leading Product Strategy by Making Better Bets. Andrew will show how to go from a blank page to a strategy your team can act on, and how to keep it alive as things change. Bring a notebook: you'll work through a short exercise using your own product.
After the talk, we'll open the floor for an extended Q&A. Bring your hardest strategy questions.
What you'll walk away with
- A practical starting point for product strategy when you're facing a blank page
- A way to frame strategy as a set of explicit bets, and the logic underneath them
- What changes, and what doesn't, when AI lets your team move faster
- How to lead strategy from the middle of the org, not just the top
