Led by Taravandana, Sraddhamani and Santavajri this day retreat is suitable for women who are already involved with any Triratna Centre in the North East and Yorkshire
When the Buddha’s companion Ananda remarked that friendship was “half of the spiritual life”, the Buddha famously corrected him and asserted: “Friendship is the whole of the spiritual life’. What could he possibly have meant? How does friendship fit into the stages of Ethics, Meditation and Wisdom, and how can we grow and develop through friendship?
On this day retreat, we will be exploring this theme through talks, discussion and guided reflection, as well as spending time with friends, both actual and potential!
