Our Friendsgiving Swap is all about bringing community members together through thoughtful, homemade gifts. Whether you’re a baker, crafter, creator, or simply love making things, we invite you to join in the fun!
Please note: This is NOT a market! There is no buying or selling involved. This is a community-focused event designed to encourage connection, conversation, and the joy of giving.
How It Works
Register by November 6! Once registration closes, we’ll confirm the final number of participants so everyone knows exactly how many gifts to prepare.
Get creative! Each participant will prepare up to 20 handmade gifts, depending on the final number of registered participants. You’ll have two weeks to get everything ready!
Bring your goodies! On event day, bring your handmade gifts to share with the other participants.
Swap & socialize! Exchange your creations, meet your neighbours, and enjoy some Friendsgiving fun!
Take home a little of everything! Each participant will leave with a collection of unique handmade gifts created by fellow community members.

Homemade jams, jellies, or preserves
Pickles, sauces, or other jarred goodies
Cookies, brownies, cupcakes, or mini loaves
Homemade spice blends or seasoning mixes
Granola, snack mixes, or candied nuts
Bracelets, earrings, or other handmade jewelry
Crocheted or knitted creations
Candles or wax melts
Handmade soaps or bath salts
Keychains, bookmarks, or magnets
Small paintings or other artwork
Handmade greeting cards or stationery
Sewn crafts or reusable fabric items
Mini plant cuttings or propagated plants
The possibilities are endless! Gifts don’t need to be expensive or elaborate. It’s the thought, creativity, and care that count.
A Few Friendly Reminders
All gifts must be handmade or homemade by the participant.
Please prepare enough of the same or similar item for each registered participant, up to a maximum of 20.
Gifts should be individually packaged and ready to exchange.
Food items must include a list of ingredients and clearly identify common allergens.
Gifts should be thoughtful, appropriate for a community exchange, and reasonably similar in value or effort.
This is a gift exchange, not a vendor market. No selling, advertising, or soliciting is permitted.
Registration closes November 6
Once registration closes, you’ll receive confirmation of the number of gifts to prepare, giving you two weeks to create your handmade goodies.
Come as neighbours, leave as friends — with a little something handmade to remember them by!
