Join Us: Revitalize the Friends of the Brownwood Library! In order to keep providing excellent services in the face of rising inflation, the Brownwood Library needs our community's support! Please join us as we seek to reform and energize the Friends of the Library support group.
This is a great way to make a real difference in your community while making new friends and spending time with old ones.

What is the new Friends of the Library?
Because this is a freshly reformed group, we have the flexibility to shape it into whatever works best for everyone!
• Regular Meetings: We plan to meet on the first Thursday of every month at noon, but we change that too.
• Social Time: Bring your lunch, catch up, meet, and stick around afterward for fun activities like a book club!
• Library Support & Fundraising: Our main goal is to fundraise for the library.
Our First Big Project: Rock & Roll Bingo!
We already have the bones of our first Friends fundraising project, but we need your help to execute it! Rock & Roll Bingo has been a hugely popular, highly successful moneymaker for other libraries, and we can’t wait to bring it here.
How to Get Involved:
• Attend the Meeting: If you’d like to be part of this organization, please join us on November 5!
• Can’t Make It? If you want to join but can't attend the meeting, send us a message or reach out—we’d love to have you.
• Just Want to Volunteer? If you'd like to help the Library without formally joining the Friends group, that is completely fine, too!
Together, we can ensure our library stays a strong, vibrant hub for Brownwood. See you there!
