About this Event
Friend or Flame is partnering with Saba Surf for an evening of cute conversation and new connections. Whether you’re looking for a friend, a flame, or something in between, this event is for you.
This round of Friend or Flame is for straight singles looking to meet new people. The speed dating portion of the evening will take roughly 45 minutes, with each mini date lasting ~2 minutes. Stick around afterwards to keep the conversations going.

Attire: Wear whatever makes you feel most confident. Please note, this event will take place indoors.
Ages: 21–40 (this is a soft guideline – if you’re over 40, you’re welcome too. We’ll be hosting more age-specific events soon.)
Things to Note:
- Please arrive by 8:00 PM to guarantee your spot in speed dating. Late arrivals may not be able to participate.
- Accessibility: If you have mobility requirements, email us at [email protected]. Please note this event includes music, lively conversation, and crowds, which may be overstimulating for some guests with sensory sensitivities.
- All gender expressions are welcome at every Friend or Flame event. Editions simply specify who you’ll be dating that evening so pick the one that matches your interest. While we don’t yet offer exclusive events for every orientation or gender expression, all are welcome in our spaces.
