Welcome to the Cultures Comedy Open Mic, a monthly night of live stand-up featuring a mix of established comedians working out brand-new material, rising comics sharpening their sets, and first-timers stepping up to the mic.
The best part of an open mic? Nobody knows exactly what's going to happen.
You might hear the beginning of a joke that eventually ends up on a comedian's special. You might discover your new favourite local comic. You might witness a joke absolutely destroy the room.
Or you might watch one die spectacularly.
That's the fun.
Come see the jokes before they're good enough to cost more.
🎤 WANT TO PERFORM?
Comedians of all experience levels are welcome to request a spot. Whether you're trying stand-up for the first time or you're an experienced comic looking to work out new material, this is a room to experiment, take risks, and get time on stage.
Spots are limited.
