Every Friday night Roots Kava Bar turns into Port Jeff's alcohol-free comedy club.
Sign-ups start at 7:30pm, the open mic kicks off at 8, and the headline comedy set starts at 9. Want to try five minutes on stage? Put your name on the list. Just want to laugh? Grab a table and a drink.
On the menu: traditional kava, espresso and coffee, ceremonial matcha, tea, house mocktails and vegan snacks. No alcohol, so the room stays chill and everyone can drive home.
Suggested donation at the door.
