Join us for a thrilling evening of mystery, suspense, great food and suspicious behaviour as we take over the upstairs of The Great North Wood Pub for our M**der Mystery Dining Experience.

After dinner, the evening continues. Mingle, socialise and enjoy music in the background until late, giving you plenty of time to chat, meet new people and enjoy the atmosphere after the M**der Mystery experience has finished.
Expect suspicious characters, hidden clues, secrets, accusations and plenty of interaction as the mystery unfolds around you throughout dinner.
Keep your eyes and ears open — the person sitting beside you may know more than they're letting on!

Don't worry if you don't have anyone to come with.
Our events are very welcoming to solo guests, and the majority of people attending our social events come on their own.
Come along, meet new people over dinner and enjoy something a little different from an ordinary Friday night out.
The pub is currently serving its summer menu.
As our M**der Mystery Dinner takes place in November, this menu will be replaced by the pub's autumn/winter menu before our event.
Therefore, the dishes shown below are provided as an example of the type of food currently being served at The Great North Wood Pub and are NOT the confirmed November menu.
Current menu dishes include options such as:

• Smoked Harissa Hummus & Olive Tapenade with flatbread
• Panko Breaded Prawns with sweet chilli dip
• Grilled Chicken Wings with a choice of sauces
• Pork Belly Bites with Tokyo sauce
• Mac & Cheese Bites with jalapeño mayo
• Chicken Skewers in a sticky soy & maple glaze
• Halloumi Fries with sweet chilli dip
• Frickles – breaded fried pickles with jalapeño mayo
Main Dishes
• Fish & Chips with peas, chunky chips and homemade tartare sauce
• Classic Beef Burger
• Smoke Burger with bacon, American cheese and jalapeño mayo
• Grilled Buttermilk Chicken Burger
• Volcano Jerk Chicken Burger

• Caesar Salad, with optional chicken, bacon or tofu

The pub offers vegetarian and vegan choices, and the final autumn/winter menu will include suitable options for guests who do not eat meat or animal products.

Pre-ordering is particularly important for this event because we want the evening to run smoothly alongside the M**der Mystery.
We don't want everyone spending long periods waiting to order or waiting between courses while the mystery is taking place.
Having everyone's meals arranged with the kitchen beforehand will allow the food service and M**der Mystery storyline to work together much more smoothly, leaving us free to enjoy the clues, characters, conversations and surprises throughout the evening.

We have a limited number of places available for this M**der Mystery Dinner.
Once all the seats are taken, we will not be able to simply add extra places due to the size and layout of the upstairs dining space.
