About Fresh Fish Nine
Grab your passpussy and set sail on a nine-month cruise with the Season 9 cast of Fresh Fish, Sway’s flagship party series and iconic drag competition.
Every second Saturday from October through June, nine contestants from around the region gather to perform before a panel of judges who provide live commentary.
Since its 2014 debut, Fresh Fish has berthed a new era of drag in the Bible Belt, launching careers for dozens of the 100+ drag queens who have been featured as contestants. The star-studded list includes RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 13 Winner Symone, the first-ever winner of Fresh Fish.
But the journey to the Hall of Fame has changed. In Season 9, all contestants will perform one number per episode and receive a ranking. With each passing episode, episodic rankings are averaged, and the leader board is updated.
Make plans now to join us all season long, every second Saturday, and especially for our annual red-carpet Pride-month grand finale & crowning in June.
