About this Event
Always wanted to try Ableton but never knew where to start? This one's for you.
In this small group session we go through the basics together, step by step. I show, you follow along on your own laptop, then we take short breaks to try things out yourself before moving on.
What we'll cover
- Setting up Ableton: audio, MIDI and the basic settings
- How the interface works: Session view, Arrangement view, browser
- Working with clips, loops and instruments
- Building a first simple beat
- A few tips to keep going on your own after the session
No experience needed, just curiosity.
What to bring
- Your laptop with Ableton Live installed (the free 30-day trial works fine)
- Headphones
