Led by Eric Bränfeldt this workshop focuses on providing tools for spontaneous creation and how to implement them to further your skills in improvised movement and dance.
By the end you will have a toolbox full and the knowledge training ability to move freely to music and ease the process of creating new material in the moment on the floor.
We will spend three hours working with storytelling, structure and technique, breaking old movement patterns and creating through improvisation. Finding new material and inspiration with the help of techniques found in physical theater, mime and contemporary dance.
Bring a water and clothes that are easy to move in. I recommend layers to stay warm throughout the workshop. You can participate with inside shoes, socks or bare feet. Pen and paper is recommended to write down quick reflections, ideas and epiphany as we will spend most of the workshop moving on the floor.
Notes and music used in the workshop will be provided after.
