Self-defense starts with recognizing that you have options.
Join KB Women’s Self-Defense Academy for a FREE 90-minute women’s personal safety and self-defense workshop at the Veterans Support Center.
All women are welcome—you do not need to be a veteran or have any martial arts experience.
Together, we’ll explore:
• Situational awareness and recognizing concerning behavior
• Setting boundaries and using your voice
• Making decisions when a situation changes
• Simple protective movements and practical escape skills
This beginner-friendly workshop combines discussion, demonstrations, and optional guided practice in a supportive environment.
Your comfort matters. Physical practice and partner contact are optional. You may observe, take breaks, or choose an alternative exercise. No one will be asked to share personal experiences.
