Our life is led by feelings and by inspiration, a role that belongs to the heart. When we listen to the heart and capture the inspiration that comes from within, we learn to master our life. The whole exercise of fine-tuning the heart with the mind is through meditation on the heart. We call this Heartfulness.
The mission of Heartfulness is to facilitate an evolution of consciousness through the practice of heart-centered meditation. By regulating the mind through Heartfulness meditation, we reduce the negativity tendencies of the mind and we develop the capacity to be led by the qualities of the heart: love, compassion, empathy, and peace.
Heartfulness is a non-profit charitable organisation and spiritual movement established in 1945 originating in India, which teaches the practice of Sahaj Marg, or Heartfulness Meditation, and is wholeheartedly dedicated to sharing the timeless traditions of Raja Yoga and Meditation with seekers around the globe, free of charge.
Heartfulness practices also overlap with yogic practices and we frequently collaborate with Yoga instructors.
