FREE Vocal Workshop with Julie Chafin

All ages and all levels welcome! Workshop will include breath control information and instruction as well as vocal exercises and a sing-a-long round. The workshops instructor, Julie Chafin has trained in vocal workshops and private lessons with various world-class musicians, including: Irene Dalis (New York Metropolitan Opera Star), Bobby McFerrin (Don’t Worry Be Happy), Todd Schroeder (Disney Instrumentalist), Gunnar Madsen (The Bobs), Tito Capobianco (General Director of the San Diego Opera), and more. Julie recived her B.A. Music (Jazz/Voice) from San Jose State University (SJSU), San Jose, CA in 1982. She is one of two original graduates in the Jazz/Voice Major at SJSU and has taught piano, flute, and voice for over 30 years.
