About this Event
About the Workshop
Student self-portraits look fantastic on classroom walls—they’re personal, expressive, and a favorite with families. But teaching self-portraits can feel intimidating when you’re thinking, I can’t even draw a face! Where does that nose go? How do I draw hair?
In this fun, hands-on workshop, we’ll cover the basics of facial proportions and explore three portrait styles that emphasize creativity and self-expression rather than detailed drawing skills. You’ll leave with practical resources and $25 worth of supplies to help you bring self-portraits into your classroom with confidence.
