Brewed in Billund, Denmark, Dansk Mjod crafts traditional honey wines from ancient Nordic recipes: pure honey, water and regional botanicals, with no shortcuts and no artificial flavoring.
Step up to our tasting counter on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 4 to 7 PM, to be among the very first in the United States to taste Old Norse Jule (19% ABV), Dansk Mjod's once-a-year holiday mead. Raw honey meets tart regional apple and a warming dash of cinnamon: rich stone fruit and caramelized honey, crisp orchard acidity and a long spiced finish. An exceptional after-dinner pour and a natural with holiday desserts.
We'll also pour Dansk Mjod favorites Viking Blod (hibiscus), Viking Runes and Odin's Skull. Looking for a holiday gift? The Dansk Mjod Gift Set with two 250ml bottles and a Teku tasting glass will be at the counter.
