About this Event
Green Wave Utah @greenwaveutah is thrilled to announce a FREE screening of OUTCRY: Alchemists of Rage, in partnership with @utahprogressivecaucus and @tenilletaggart
Following the screening, we’ll have a light discussion facilitated by Green Wave’s Event Lead, Dani Darrant (she/her), along with time to connect with the organizations and community partners who have come together to support this event - including time to check your voter registration!
Bring yourself, bring a friend, and bring a donation for the Geraldine King Homeless Shelter - see list of suggested items in post.
We’re looking forward to this opportunity to gather in community, experience this powerful film, and explore how collective action can lead to positive change. We hope it also serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of making your voice heard - and making sure you and your friends remember to vote!

🔥ABOUT THE FILM
OUTCRY: Alchemists of Rage follows artist and activist Whitney Bradshaw as she photographs women mid-scream in cathartic group sessions where long-silenced stories conjure rage, sorrow, and joy.
An activist and sexual abuse survivor, Whitney uses art to fuel action for women’s rights, culminating in a grassroots fight for reproductive rights in Ohio.
CONTENT NOTE: OUTCRY explores sensitive and deeply personal subjects. Some scenes and topics may evoke strong emotional responses for viewers.
