A Free Community Screening & Conversation on Grief, Love & Being AliveJoin us at Hot Spot Power Yoga -San Marco for a special community screening of Come See Me in the Good Light, the deeply moving documentary centered on poet Andrea Gibson and their wife, Megan Falley, as they navigate love, cancer, mortality, and what it means to truly be alive.
At its heart, this is a film about love. It holds grief and joy side by side and explores what happens when we are asked to face loss while still choosing connection, humor, beauty, and life.
Following the film, Dawn Clapp will facilitate an optional community conversation and reflection around grief, love, loss, and healing, drawing from her training in grief work.
There is nothing you need to fix, figure out, or share. You’re welcome to simply watch, listen, reflect, and be in community.
Make Yourself Comfortable ❤️
This is meant to be a cozy, relaxed evening, so feel free to bring anything that will help you settle in and get comfortable — a favorite pillow, an extra blanket, comfy clothes, or a snack or drink to enjoy during the film.
We’ll have bolsters and blankets available at the studio, and you’re welcome to settle in however feels best for you.
This evening is an opportunity to gather together and make room for the full experience of being human — grief and love, laughter and tears, loss and connection.
