About this Event
Never danced before? Curious about Salsa? Join our FREE taster in Burntisland on the 11th November. Fun, friendly and no partner or experience needed!
Thinking about trying salsa? Come and give it a go for FREE!
Have you ever wanted to try salsa but weren't sure if it was for you?
Maybe you've never danced before, haven't danced in years, or simply fancy trying something new and meeting people locally.
This FREE Salsa Taster is a relaxed introduction to salsa for complete beginners.
And if you're wondering, “Am I too old to start dancing?” — absolutely not!
Many of our dancers are in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond, and everyone starts somewhere. You don't need to be naturally “good at dancing” we'll guide you through everything step by step.
Booking is recommended so we know how many people to expect. Drop-ins are also welcome if there is space.
💃 What will we do?
In this 1-hour taster, you'll get an introduction to Salsa Crossbody On1, including:
- Simple salsa steps and basic movement
- Solo exercises to help you get comfortable with the rhythm
- Easy partnerwork exercises
- A chance to experience what our regular classes are like
- Plenty of time to have fun and enjoy yourself!
No previous dance experience needed — and you don't need a partner! 👟
You can come on your own. We regularly rotate partners during the class, so there's no need to find someone to come with you.
Just bring comfortable shoes, yourself, and a little curiosity!
