MAKE YOUR CODE DO SOMETHING IN THE REAL WORLD
Join FigLab for a free, hands-on Raspberry Pi workshop in Memphis. You’ll build a simple LED circuit and use Python to make it blink, with step-by-step guidance along the way.
Never coded or used a breadboard before? This workshop starts with the basics.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Get familiar with a Raspberry Pi, which a small computer you can use for electronics projects.
• Learn how GPIO pins connect your code to physical components.
• Wire a simple circuit using an LED, resistor, and breadboard.
• Run a Python program that turns your LED on and off.
The goal is simple: understand how your code controls the circuit you built.
